i dreamt i was in a van and the kangaroo came up next to my window.

and he put his hand against the window and i put my hand up against the window

and then i put my hand outside the window vent and he held it.

it was nice.  it was cute.  it was not scary.

one time in kindergarten

i said "mom, why is the sky blue?"

she said "because god made it that way"

i said "why did she do that?"

today i wondered:

she sings, she grows, she dances, she soars

what would it look like if we wore our butterflies and birds on our sleeves?

the first thing i thought when i woke up this morning was:

if i had overalls today would be the day to wear them

then this:

wow that sky does not suck.

my sister

she said

i think you are the bee's knees

the cat's pajamas

the cat's meow

funny how cats get so many of those

anyways

i love you to pieces

but more as a whole.

at church the pastor prayed and he said "thank you God for giving us a world filled with truth and beauty" and the little boy next to me said "BEAUTY!" and it was wonderful.

some definitions

sundays are for taking life-giving walks, especially the sunny ones.
trees are to give and to grow and to make you feel little.
winter sun is to remind you that spring will come again this year.
spring is for warmness and playing catch and jubilees.

sunday walks and trees and winter sun and hints of spring are to make a heart glad.
